Lights, Camera, LongShot Action...

Fresh off the heels of recording her brand new album, Keep On Believin’, LongShot Recording artist Julie Ingram (a.k.a. LongShot Girl) has partnered with Oscar Award winning director George Tirl of Golden City Pictures and acclaimed director of photography Joe Cantu of Texas World Television to film the first video from the album for the song “Anytime Anywhere.”

Shot in and around the D/FW area at locations such as Eddie Deen’s Ranch and the Fort Worth Stockyards, “Anytime Anywhere” is an up-tempo country song about a woman who doesn’t know if loving her man is “wrong or right, but she doesn’t care … she just wants to be with [him] anytime, anywhere.”

“We chose ‘Anytime Anywhere’ as the first single and video from the album because it describes the most vivid backdrop that goes with the music and lyrics,” said Ingram. “Like other songs on Keep On Believin’, it’s about following your heart and finding your own path in life. Also, by filming in North Texas, I was able to include my favorite fans and friends in many of the shots dancing and singing along while at the same time showcasing our great cities of Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas. It was an inspiring and creative experience for all involved!”

Filming for “Anytime Anywhere” kicked off on Sunday, May 6 at Eddie Deen’s Ranch in downtown Dallas with an open call for families and country western dances. Fans of all ages showed up to be part of the video. Following the Eddie Deen’s shoot, the crew traveled to the Fort Worth stockyards for tons of “cow town” footage. Currently in post-production “Anytime Anywhere” will be ready for audiences August 1, 2007.

Fans can also hear the song in the online jukebox at Julie Ingram. The “Anytime Anywhere” single releases to radio on July 23, 2007 and the full album will be available in retail outlets on September 4, 2007.

Julie is an exceptionally beautiful and talented singer/songwriter, entertainer and recording artist. A Kansas native and runner up for the title of Miss Kansas, she now lives in Dallas, Texas. LongShot Girl Poves Namesake -
Dallas, TX

Julie Ingram Places 3rd at Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's "On Target For A Cure" - Singer and songwriter Julie Ingram proved that she was more than her moniker LongShot Girl as she brought home a sparkling silver 3rd place belt buckle in the lady’s division from The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's On Target For A Cure Sporting Clays Tournament. Julie gunned down clay targets for a score of  a whopping 46. The first place winner had a score of 72 .

The event was a huge success, raising $280,000 for blood cancer research, patient aid and education. The three-day tournament began with a sporting dinner on Thursday, October 12 at the Frontiers of Flight Museum in Dallas.  More than180 patrons and underwriters attended the dinner, complete with a cocktail reception and live auction.  Featured auction items included amazing donated items such as diamond earrings and a safari in Africa.  The tournament continued on Friday at Elm Fork Shotgun Sports, where $7,500 and up sponsors practiced on the shooting range one day prior to the actual tournament.  On Saturday, the event concluded after an all-day clay shoot-out, followed by a demonstration by All-American Beretta Athlete Scott Robertson.

While most women are pulling on giblets for Thanksgiving, singer and

a shotgun as she spends the holiday relaxing and recouping at the Hawkeye
Hunting Club in Center, Texas. Prior to giving her pipes a rest, Julie plans to belt out a few of

A Dog Gone Good Time

Never one to pass up a good soiree, Julie Ingram, a.k.a. LongShot Girl, recently returned from Nashville where she attended the 2006 EMI Music Publishing Hot Dog Party.

“The Hot Dog Party is a tradition that has been going on for more than 30 years as a way for songwriters to come together in a laid back, picnic-like atmosphere,” said Makin’ Music’s Chris Dodson. “And it just would not have been a party without Julie! That’s why we invited her to spend time with her fellow writers and some of the biggest musicians in the business.”

Among those enjoy dogs and company with Julie were Charlie Monk and Frank Wainwright.

Ingram "Keeps On Believin'"

During her first recording session in Nashville for her upcoming radio single, Dallas singer-songwriter Julie Ingram, a.k.a. "LongShot Girl," noticed quite a commotion at her hotel. She was greeted by TV cameras and protesters, and taken up the driveway via golf cart through a series of security checkpoints.

"What a way to welcome a recording artist," quipped Ingram. But it turns out all the hype was for a different guest who is rumored to be real estate shopping & possibly Julie's neighbor in Dallas - President George W. Bush.

Currently recording her new album at Curb Studios in Nashville, LongShot recording artist Julie Ingram has teamed up with producers Chris Dodson and Jeff Tweel of Makin' Music. Her single will go out to radio in January, and the album will be ready for a March release date.

"I'm extremely excited about this new venture, and can't wait for my fans to hear my new Nashville sound . . . as this will be the very first time I've ever recorded someone else's music. . . also using all topnotch Nashville songwriters & Nashville musicians is tough to beat" states Ingram.

The new album entitled "Keep On Believin'" is about relationships. Good, bad, cheating and loving . . . all wrapped up in one. This album will also explore the challenge of one woman's perseverance to fulfill a life long dream in Country Music.

Texas took Nashville by storm during the recent 37th Annual Country Radio Seminar, recently dubbed "Country Radio Week". Dallas own LongShot recording artist and CEO Julie Ingram attended the festivities, joining the likes of fellow Texans and country crooners Sonny Burgess and Todd Gritsch. During the festivities it was announced Sonny Burgess will be a featured performer at the 2006 CMA Music Festival in June.

"Retired General Tommy Franks gave the keynote address…", stated Julie. "He's the best speaker I've seen. Besides having one of the most infectious laughs, he makes everyone feel good and proud to be an American!"

Carthage, Texas was the place to be for the Tex Ritter Round-up sponsored by KGAS radio at the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame and the induction ceremony took place that evening. Glenn Sutton, who originally hailed from Carthage took the stage first along with his former wife Lynn Anderson for the platinum album he produced "Rose Garden". Ohter artist Sutton wrote for and had songs recorded by are: Eddy Arnold, Jerry Lee Lewis, Jim Nabors, Andy Griffith, Andy Williams, Rod Stewart, George Jones, Wanda Jackson, Ferlin Husky and Merle Haggard.

Accepting the award for his father was Dean Miller, son of "King of the Road" legend Roger Miller. "If you haven't read Roger Miller's life history you can't say you know much about music" states Julie who is pictured here with Dean, whom also has a new album out following in his father's footsteps. The 3rd inductee was fiddler Johnny Gimble who grew up on a farm in East Texas and after 50 years is still fiddlin around today with his own group called "Texas Swing". He settled in Dallas in the early 50's with The Big D Jamboree doing TV & radio with Bill & Jim Boyd. As staff fiddler for NBC's "5-star Jubilee" he appeared on "Prairie Home Companion" in Waco and even had his own "Johnny Gimble & the Homefolks" show on KWTX for 3 years. He has been on Austin City Limits more than any other performer and also did "HeeHaw" with The Million Dollar Band. CMA instumentalist of the yr. 3 times and 2 grammy's he was declared a national treasure by the Endowment for the Arts and presented his awards by Hillary Clinton in Washington D.C..

"Jimmy Dean was great" says Ingram "I even had Jimmy Dean sausage for breakfast in his honor!" Born in Plainview, Texas Dean is best known for songs "Bummin' Around" and then he wrote "Big Bad John" and followed with "Dear Ivan", The Cajun Queen and "Pt 109" He made history by being the first country artist to ever play the Las Vegas Strip and he was also a regular actor on the "Daniel Boone Show". He & his singer/songwriter wife Donna Meade have just written the new state song chosen for Virginia's next state anthem. "She was fabulous on stage with him" says Julie whom is married to Carthage native Don Ingram. "If only I could teach my husband to play the piano or sing!".

Recently in Nashville for The CMA Music Festival "Fan Fair," Dallas' own country singer/songwriter Julie Ingram was in good company signing autographs at Country Music Today Magazine booth. Country superstars (and heartthrobs) Billy Currington and Craig Morgan signed autographs on either side of Julie. "The fans were unbelievable," says Julie, "some had been in line for nearly 4 hours!"

Following the appearance, Julie and "Sammy the Skunk" (a character from Julie's children's album) cruised the streets of Nashville in a "Long Shot Records'" limousine. As Julie passed by the legendary country western bar Tootsie's Orchid Lounge," (where all famous country stars have at one time or another appeared) fans surrounded the car for autographs and shot glasses. Easily recognized on the streets, Julie graced the cover of the Nashville Music Guide for Fan Fair (through the month of June).

Her lastest single Be Proud of Your Flag is also featured on the CD sampler compiled by the popular magazine and Julie is listed as one of the up and coming artists to watch in 2005!

Recently in Nashville for The CMA Music Festival "Fan Fair," Dallas' own country singer/songwriter Julie Ingram was in good company signing autographs at Hilton-downtown Nashville. In town promoting her patriotic single Be Proud of your Flag, Julie was thrilled to find out pilots from the U.S. Navy Marine Strike-Fighter Squadron "The Fabulous Thunderbirds" were staying at the hotel in anticipation of a "fly-over" at that evenings festivities. Captain's Kevin Mulligan and Nick Johnson of Beufort, South Carolina posed with Julie and awarded her with their emblem "The Fighting Bulldogs."
